• During my 40 year career I have been;
  • Senior Designer at Lewis Moberly, Founding Partner at Halpin Grey Vermier and a Creative Director at Identica.
  • After leaving art college in the late 1960's my first position of authority in commercial design was to establish and direct a graphic design studio within an advertising agency in Zambia, Central Africa.
  • On my return to London in 1971 I worked extensively in the music industry, designing album covers and logos, during this time I won several music design awards and had work featured in books on album cover design.
  • I then began working with London's leading advertising agencies designing press and poster campaigns. My work won D&AD awards and has been published in several design and advertising annuals. I also worked as an independant designer with major London design agencies, specialising in brand packaging, brand marks and corporate identity.
  • I am a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts and have been elected to the judging panel of many award schemes including D&AD, Design Week, D&AD Student Awards, European Design Awards and Scottish Design Awards. I have lectured at many design colleges and have taken part in the D&AD Education Program.
  • I continue to work as an independant designer specialising in brand marks, corporate identity, brand packaging, bespoke lettering and fonts.
